(In Australia)

Federalism creeps on bare knees towards the light,
Significant under the microscope of time,
Which reveals concessions from the States by night,
To pave the way for future stars to shine.
Conservative thoughts re-tune the strings of old,
With changing views that seek a lessoning crowd,
We don't hear much protest from the traditional bold,
In the opposition parties who were once so loud.
It will transpire that central power will be claimed,
As slowly all the States become defamed,
That common law will spread across the land,
That each and every part will understand.
That the laws are all the same where ever you live,
And what you gain will be from what you give.
