YET!

Yet we have healed and discovered,
We have made the woman proud,
Who from discrimination has recovered,
And has stepped from behind a cloud.
Let us not debase our generation,
Based on the lowliest of deeds,
But more positively mention,
What our grand efforts have achieved.
The British Prime Minister was a woman,
And in New Zealand she still reigns,
These are symbols of achievement,
These are positive honest, gains...
Not forgetting the act of Rosa...
Who, in all our hearts, remains.
